Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This policy explains how Porchswing Technology & Senior Services, LLC (“Porchswing,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information across our website, our technology services, and the PorchswingProtect app. We’ve written it in plain English on purpose. The short version: we collect only what we need to help you and protect your devices, we never sell your information, and you can always ask what we have on file.

What we collect

When you contact us through the website: what you give us — your name, phone number, email address (if provided), and your message.

When you buy a subscription: your name, email, and billing details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase and plan, your email, and limited billing information — we never see or store your full card number.

From the PorchswingProtect app on your computer: to provide and monitor protection, the app sends us check-ins that include the name you give the computer, its operating system and the app version, how long it has been running, the date and time of check-ins and scans, and the results of scans — such as whether a threat was found and basic details about anything moved to quarantine, or whether a remote-access tool was detected. A technician may also save a phone number so they can reach you, and any support messages you send through the app.

What stays on your computer: the actual contents of your files are scanned locally by the antivirus engine on your device. We do not upload or read your personal files — only the results and basic details described above are sent to us so a technician can help.

How we use it

We use your information to provide the Services: to respond to you, set up and run your protection, let a technician monitor your device’s status and reach out when something looks wrong, process your subscription, and keep records of how we’ve helped you. We may also use it to send service messages (like renewal or security notices) and, if you opt in, occasional tips and offers — which you can unsubscribe from any time.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only so they can do work for us:

  • Stripe — processes payments and subscriptions.
  • Resend — delivers our emails (such as your activation code).
  • Railway — securely hosts our app and database.
  • GoHighLevel — our customer-records system, so we can keep track of how we’ve helped you.

We never sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing. We only disclose information when required to deliver a service you asked for, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you’re a customer and as long as we need it to run the Services, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove the details that identify you. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see your choices below).

How we protect it

We protect your information with reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, and per-device keys so one computer can’t impersonate another. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to collect as little as we can.

Your choices and your California privacy rights

You can ask us what we have on file, get a copy, correct it, or have it deleted — just ask, and a real person will take care of it.

Because we’re based in California and serve California residents, you also have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to access and delete it, the right to correct it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or “share” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify who you are before we act, and you can use an authorized agent where the law allows.

Children

The Services are for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we’ll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, give reasonable notice.
